Rechargable Wireless Desktop Suite (VP6510)

My VP6510 Keyboard (and/or mouse) does not communicate with my computer. What do I do?

The radio frequency (RF) codes are preset at the factory for your convenience. If for any reason the keyboard and/or mouse do not function correctly, i.e. no cursor movement or sluggish cursor movement, or you cannot type, there may be other wireless devices in the vicinity operating on the same radio frequency channel.

You can reset the keyboard and/or mouse to a different RF channel.

To connect the mouse to your system, press the connect button located at the bottom of the RF receiver while it's connected to your computer's USB port; then press the connect button at the bottom of the mouse. This will reset the RF receiver and mouse to a different channel to avoid interference.

To connect the keyboard to your system, press the connect button located at the bottom of the RF receiver while it's connected to your computer's USB port; then press the connect button located at the upper right-hand corner of the keyboard. This will reset the RF receiver and keyboard to a different channel to avoid interference.

These steps can be repeated when needed.

I'm using Windows 2000 and the calculator hotkey does not work on my VP6510 keyboard?

This behavior is evident only in Windows 2000. Please download the patch from the link below to fix it.

I get alpha characters when typing numbers.

Your receiver may be picking up interfering signals. Try using a different channel by pressing the connect key on the bottom of the receiver, then press the connect key on your keyboard.
