Global Presenter VP4350/VP4360

My Global Presenter will not work. I get the led on the receiver and the remote's led and laser pointer work, but it will not move the cursor on the screen.     train global

You may need to train the receiver to accept the digital code from the remote. To do this, remove the receiver from the USB port and re-connect it after a few seconds.

Then, press and hold the NEXT button (right Arrow) for 10 seconds until the red light on the remote turns back on. At the same time, the receiver LED should turn from flashing green to solid green then red and back to flashing green. The receiver should now be trained.

The blackout button turns my screen white or does not work at all.     white out

The receiver is setup to work in many languages. Some use alternate commands to black out the screen. To change this setting, find the small hole on top of the receiver. Use a paper clip or tooth pick to hold down the button while it is in the USB port. The light on the receiver will turn yellow. Try the blackout control again. If it still does not work, repeat the process until it does.

What is the difference between Global Presenter and Presenter Special Edition?
    special

RemotePoint Presenter Special Edition and RemotePoint Global Presenter are both designed to provide PowerPoint slide control, mouse control, and laser pointing with USB plug and play capability at up to 100 feet (30 meters) of range.

The key difference for Presenter Special Edition is the 32MB of presentation storage that is built into the receiver. Special Edition also has software inside the box useful for reprogramming of the remote buttons and creating special effects in your slide show.

One last difference is the radio frequency used by the 2 units. The Special edition uses 916.5 MHz. This is legal in North America only. The Global Presenter uses 2.4 GHz and can be used worldwide.

What is the difference between the VP4150, VP4160 (Navigators) VP4350 and VP4360(Global Presenters)?     compare remotes

The VP41XX series are the RemotePoint Navigators. These units have a 50' range and have 4 buttons to control your presentation. They use page up, page down and a 'b' for blanking out you screen. The fourth button activates the laser pointer.
The VP43XX series are the RemotePoint Presenters. These units have a 100' range. They also have mouse controls. In both cases the difference in the 50 or 60 suffix is the power of the laser. The VPXX60's are intended to go to Europe. The laser is less powerful to comply with CE standards. The US models, VPXX50's, have a more powerful laser pointer. All units require an open USB port to operate. All units operate on an RF frequency of 2.4 GHz.
